My toddler keeps getting out of her new bed, how do I get her to stay put?

This phase is completely normal. The most reliable approach is calm, boring consistency: walk her back with as little chat, light and eye contact as possible. Most families see it settle within one to two weeks.

What worked for us was a 'bedtime pass', one card she could trade for a single cuddle. Once it was used up, that was it.
