What are the sleep regression ages, and which are actually rough?
M Asked by Meg
Keep seeing people mention 'regressions' at different ages and I can never tell if it's a genuine developmental thing or just a rough few nights. What are the usual ones and which floored you the most?

The ones you hear about are roughly 4 months, 8 to 10 months, a year, 18 months and 2 years. For us the 4 month one, which isn't really a phase, it's their sleep changing for good, and 18 months were the killers. The rest we barely noticed. They tend to land right when a big new skill is brewing, crawling, walking, talking, that sort of thing.
