Delivery

This Shipping & Delivery Policy is part of our Terms of Service ("Terms") and should be therefore read alongside our main Terms.

Please carefully review our Delivery and Returns Policy when purchasing our products. This policy will apply to any order you place with us.

What are my delivery options?

Standard Delivery

  • £9.99 flat rate
  • Delivered within 3–5 working days for stocked items
  • Tracking information will be provided once dispatched
  • Offshore UK (e.g. Northern Ireland & Scottish Highlands): £25.99

Free Delivery

  • Free standard delivery on orders over £200 (excluding offshore delivery zones)

Custom & Made-to-Order Items

We craft every product with care and made-to-order items take a little longer:

Once dispatched, you'll receive a tracking link with estimated delivery dates.


Do you deliver internationally?

We currently deliver within the UK only. International shipping is not available at this time.


What if my order is delayed?

We work closely with our couriers, but occasionally delays happen.
If your delivery is impacted, we’ll let you know and provide an updated estimated delivery date.

Delivery windows are estimates and may vary. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please refer to our Terms of Service for more.


Third-Party Fulfilment

In some cases, products may be fulfilled directly by third-party partners in our maker network. You’ll still receive tracking and support through Roomix.

Returns

We offer a 30-day return policy for most non-custom items, starting from the day you receive your order.

To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original packaging (including tags or barcodes), and in the same condition you received them. A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Return Fees

A £9.99 return fee applies to each return, except for mattresses which incur a £20.00 return fee, to cover shipping and handling. This amount will be deducted from your refund.

How to Start a Return

Please email hello@roomix.com to request a return. Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

If your return is approved, we’ll either:

  • Arrange a courier collection on a working day of your choice, or
  • Provide a return shipping label and instructions for how and where to send your item.

You may be responsible for a portion of return shipping costs depending on item size and location.


Size Guarantee

We design every product to fit beautifully in your space and if something doesn’t fit as intended, our Size Guarantee means we’ll work with you to make it right.

Please note:

  • This guarantee applies only when correct measurements were provided and Roomix recommended the product accordingly.
  • It does not cover incorrect measurements supplied by the customer, or cases where access, installation, or fit issues are due to constraints not disclosed prior to ordering.
  • Guarantee remedies may include replacement parts, fit adjustments, or minor modifications not full returns or refunds.

Non-Returnable Items

Some items are custom-made and cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged. These include:

  • Custom cut wood products
  • Toddler beds, shelves, shoe & coat racks
  • Custom wall panelling
  • Mattresses once removed from vacuum-sealed packaging
  • Sale items or gift cards
  • These products are made-to-order and personalised, so they can’t be resold.

If you have questions about a specific product, we're happy to advise.


Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue quickly.

In some cases, we may ask a third-party partner (such as an assembly provider) to inspect and verify the issue before proceeding with a resolution.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to swap an item, please request a return (if eligible) and place a new order for the replacement item.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note:

  • It may take additional time for your bank or card provider to post the refund.
  • If it’s been more than 15 business days since approval and you haven't received your refund, please email hello@roomix.com.
