How much weight can the desk support?

The desks have been designed as work desk or dressing tables so you can safely hold your books, laptop or lotions on there. The deeper the desk, the less sturdy it becomes. We can give a best guess estimate of the weight the desk can hold if you send over your dimensions.

What material is the desk made out of?

The desk is made from FSC certified solid wood which is very sturdy and durable.

Is the desk suitable for use as a standing desk?

Absolutely, this desk was designed to also make the perfect standing desk. You have the freedom to position and set the height exactly to your preference.

Can I customise the desk size?

If you cannot find the size that you like, please send us an enquiry at hello@roomixdiy.com and we'll help you out.

Can I change the colour of the bracket?

Send us an email at hello@roomixdiy.com with specifics of what you'd like and we will get back to you as soon as possible to let you know if it's possible.

How easy is it to open and close the desk? Is it secure?

The desk can be easily opened and closed with a latch-lock system. The sturdy brackets will be secured in place and will not move until you press to unlock. You will not be able to accidentally unlock the desk when in use.

Can I install this desk onto any wall?

We highly suggest you install the desk on to a solid wall or a stud to be able to support the extra weight of the desk and your extra items.

Can I choose a different colour for my desk?

Yes! We have a number of other F&B paint colours in stock so it's definitely worth checking at hello@roomixdiy.com. If we don't have the colour you're after in stock we're happy to order it in for an additional cost of £34.

Can I easily hang the wall desk myself?

Yes! We provide the instructions and fixings to make this very easy. If your desk is over 60cm in length we recommend getting a friend to help you hang.
