We use water based finishes which are non toxic, hypoallergenic and more robust than their wax counterparts.

The wood used for the desk is 3.1cm deep.

Our products don't come with pre-drilled holes. We provide self tapping screws which drill their own hole as they get screwed into the wood. This provides you with freedom of choice for where to install the legs.

Wood is a living, breathing material. It responds to its environment and, like all living things, it ages. Natural wood has characteristics which include knots, variations in grain and differences in colour.

These variations in the wood are to be expected and celebrated and will not affect the functionality or structural integrity of the piece.

The finishing products we use for our furniture are water based and non toxic. That means they require little to no maintenance and they are environmentally friendly!

The surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and a general purpose spray
cleaner for a regular clean as and when required.

Avoid excess heat or dryness, as this can cause wood to split and crack. Be sure to
keep your furniture away from heat sources such as fireplaces or radiators. In damp
rooms or during wet, rainy seasons, use a dehumidifier to remove excess moisture
from the air. Keep furniture out of direct sunlight.

You can refresh the look of your furniture every 6-8 months by dampening a cloth
with a bit of danish oil and wiping the surface along the grain.

Our desks are designed for indoor use only.

If you have chosen to add a cable management hole, we will by default position this at the back of the desk in the centre (under the riser shelf if you have selected this add on as well).
